One of the rooms that I’ve taken quite a long time to perfect/waited a rather long time for the right desk to come along for is my office. Okay, so it’s not really an office. More like a little nook in our hallway and above our stairs. We can’t all be second-bedroom renters while maintaining a London lifestyle, alright?!

I feel like I’ve been waiting for such a long time to show off my new cosy nook that I’ve forgotten to share the journey along the way. The excitement nearly took over, I’m sorry. However, it would be rude not to share some of the items that nearly made it, wouldn’t it? Just in case you spot the perfect piece for your own abode.

Do bear in mind that we really are talking about a small space so storage and sleekness really were on my checklist. After all, a desk too big for the space really isn’t a good look. I’ve also been massively on the hunt for a chair that allows me to actually sit properly and doesn’t hurt my back but is also reasonably good looking – I think I managed it. What do you think?
